INVESTIGATION OF THE STATISTICAL STRUCTURE OF FIELDS OF AIR TEMPERATURE AND PRESSURE,
Abstract
An electronic computer was used to investigate the space structural and correlation functions of average monthly air temperature near the earth and pressure at sea level. The article presents an analysis of the results of special calculations designed to expose erroneous data used in connection with an objective analysis of meteorological fields. The work was performed in connection with the automation of the hydrometeorological network where there is special importance in the automatic exclusion of gross errors in data from observations.
