CERTAIN PROBLEMS CONCERNING RADIATION IN AN UNLIMITED MEDIUM WITH EVENLY DISTRIBUTED ISOTROPIC SOURCES,

Abstract

The article deals with problems of finding the amount of absorbed energy of nonscattered radiation in the total absorbed energy of radiation, and also with the error which develops during calculation of absorbed energy of radiation by using the build-up factor of a point isotropic source in an unlimited medium in the form of the total of the two exponents. Simpler and more accurate formulas are given for determination of dose and energy flow in an unlimited aqueous medium with sources.
