COMPUTER PROGRAMS FOR THE OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS OF HAGERSTRAND TYPE SPATIAL DIFFUSION MODELS.

Abstract

Previous technical reports have presented computer programs for the implementation of Hagerstrand type models of spatial diffusion on regular and irregular lattices. Since these models are of a Monte Carlo nature, multiple runs are necessary in order to establish expected values and estimates of the degree of variation to be expected. This report presents modified versions of the two major generating programs (HAGER III and NONCELO which have been redesigned for multiple run output on binary magnetic tape. In each case two reduction routines, one providing temporal summaries and the other spatial summaries, are also provided. Output samples and source deck listings in FORTRAN IV for the CDC 3400 are given for all programs. (Author)
