IONIC THERMOCONDUCTIVITY AND PROPERTIES OF DIELECTRICS.

Abstract

The research performed dealt mainly with the dielectric and optical properties of pure and doped alkali halides single crystals; other dielectric materials such as CaCO3, Al2O3 etc. were studied as well, but the results obtained are only qualitative. The properties of metal impurities, color centers, electron traps were studied extensively; some of the results deal with the influence of plastic deformation and with the properties of ionic space charge.
