THE SYNTHESIS OF A SYSTEM FOR OPTIMAL STABILIZATION OF A SPACE STATION,

Abstract

The report gives the solution to the problem of synthesizing a system for stabilizing a manned space station. The stabilization system suppresses the initial angular momentum of the station which it acquires at the moment it separates from the booster. Suppression occurs according to an optimal law which corresponds to the accepted quality factor (Q) no matter what the movement of the crew members. (Author)
