ON A SYSTEM CHECK METHOD CONCERNING THE EXECUTION,

Abstract

A new method of checking computer operations is set forth which detects and corrects single errors and detects multiple errors. Conventionally, checking codes are represented by a remainder of the division of number x by modulus P; in the new method, the check information is derived from the digit weight. Positive numbers are used for checking.
