OBSERVING AND PHOTOGRAPHING OBJECTS AT A LOCALITY WHILE ILLUMINATING THEM WITH A LASER BEAM,

Abstract

The use of lasers in an instrument for observing and photographing terrain objects under low atmospheric visibility conditions, when the use of usual observation methods is not possible, is described. The instrument also allows measuring the distance to the object with an error of no more than 5 m. (Author)
