PROCEDURES FOR A BEST POPULATION PROBLEM WHEN THE CRITERION OF BESTNESS INVOLVES A FIXED TOLERANCE REGION.

Abstract

Tables of constants necessary to use the procedures developed by Guttman (1961, Ann. Inst. Stat. Math., 13 pp. 9-26) are given. In addition a new procedure for a similar problem is given, and it is proved that the procedure is parameter-free at level P*. (Author)
