TUNNEL-DIODE PULSE CIRCUITS,

Abstract

The book is intended for specialists working in the field of pulse technique and semiconductor devices. It may also be useful to students in schools of higher education. The book is devoted to the problems connected with the application of tunnel diodes to pulse circuits. The properties of tunnel diodes, their characteristics, as well as the characteristics of combined circuits and problems of approximating their characteristics are discussed. Major attention is given to the analysis of tunnel-diode operations in amplification, self-oscillation, and triggering circuits. The presented material is to a considerable degree based on the experiments of the author and his co-workers.
