COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE CALCULATION OF ELECTRIC FIELDS IN AN ELECTROFLUIDDYNAMIC GENERATOR.

Abstract

A computer program for the determination of the electric field within an electrofluiddynamic generator is presented. The program produces constant potential lines, constant radial (or transverse) field intensity lines, constant axial field intensity lines and lines of constant magnitude of electric field intensity. The program is suitable for two-dimensional or axisymmetric geometries. A listing of the program is presented with a discussion of the input and output that will enable an independent investigator to use the program. Also presented is an example problem including the input and output. (Author)
