THREE-DIMENSIONAL DIGITAL OCEAN CLIMATOLOGY FOR THE WESTERN NORTH ATLANTIC,

Abstract

A three-dimensional ocean climatology of the western north Atlantic off the U.S. east coast. Monthly means are presented for the sea surface and 200 and 400 ft. temperatures and the mixed layer depth. Seasonal and monthly temperature profiles are presented for selected locations within the regional analysis area. The climatology was derived from Naval Oceanographic Office, Scripps Institute and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute data. (Author)
