NEW CONSIDERATIONS OF THE FLUCTUATING FLOW FIELD IN PROPELLER THEORY.

Abstract

Research on the propeller flow field associated with typical V/STOL aircraft operating conditions is summarized briefly. Axial cruise flight and static operation are treated with emphasis on the effects of blade circulation distribution shape and the differences between the mean and fluctuating flow fields. (Author)
