BIOMECHANICS STUDIES ON DYNAMIC SHAPE RECOGNITION.

Abstract

This report documents the experimental reduction to practice of the concept of dynamic shape recognition, an optical processing scheme applicable to the recognition of geometrical objects in photographic imagery. The concept involves the use of the motion of the sensor as a prime means of recognition. The appendix to this report contains additional theoretical studies useful for the implementation of the concept covering the noise analysis of the stochastic process involved. (Author)
