INFORMATION PROCESSING.

Abstract

Information processing research has included the development of a computer program which successfully simulates a production control system. A manual for student use with this system has been developed. Also, a number of computer programs capable of extending the mechanical designer's ability have been written. A program which uses the computer as a symbol manipulator to assist in solving systems of polynomial equations has been extended and developed. In addition, a complete report has been prepared on 'An Algorithmic Approach to Sequential Automata Design.' (Author)
