Abstract
This manual was prepared as part of an integrated system for maintenance of the AN/UPN-12 and AN/UPN-15 LORAN equipment at sea; it illustrates application of the FORECAST concepts and techniques in electronics maintenance, developed in research for the Department of the Army. The manual is a self-instructional text in scrambled format. It is a complete guide of operational procedures, with pictures, charts, and guides to supplement the text. It is being used as an example of the FORECAST approach to manuals, as a teaching aid to military users, and for exploratory work in electronics maintenance. (Author)
