CALCULATION OF THE COEFFICIENT OF PERFORMANCE OF A VAPOR CYCLE REFRIGERATION SYSTEM.

Abstract

The technical note describes the refrigeration vapor cycle analysis based on use of equations for representing the thermodynamic properties of the refrigerant. The SPOT computer program calculates the coefficient of performance of a typical refrigeration system. The refrigerants that can be handled by the program are Freon -11, -12, -21, and -114, and it can easily be modified to handle other refrigerants. (Author)
