Abstract

The Navy Initial Support Requirement (NISR-1) is a provisioning specification prescribing the procedures, formats, terms, and conditions governing the provisioning of end items of equipments purchased by an activity of the Naval Material Command (NMC). It specifies the actions to be performed and the schedules to be met. It furnishes the instructions for the preparation of provisioning technical documentation. It delineates the range of documentation and requirements that the hardware systems command/project manager may prescribe. (Author)
