THE THEORY OF A TURBIDIMETRIC BACK-SCATTERING INSTALLATION (Teoriya Nefelometricheskoi Ustanovki Obratnogo Rasseaniya),

Abstract

The article analyzes a series of theoretical problems connected with the operation of a backscattering turbidimetric installation. An equation for the determination of the meteorological visibility distance using a photometer was obtained, providing a polarization visibility counter of the M-53 type is used. A calibrated scale (curve) has been built, one of the possible procedures for the graduation of the installation is suggested and optimal values of basic parameters are recommended. (Author)
