Abstract
The 6th International Symposium on the Reactivity of Solids was held in Schenectady, N. Y. There were 178 participants from 14 different countries. The scientific program consisted of 8 plenary lectures (one for each technical session) and the presentation and discussion of 71 contributed papers. Details of the program and its planning, a list of attendees, and plans for the 7th ISRS are included in the report. (Author)
