DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNIQUES FOR THE DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF SEISMIC MODEL RECEIVING TRANSDUCERS.

Abstract

Ferroelectric ceramic transducer materials were investigated to determine their application to the design and fabrication of seismic model receiving transducers. Selected materials were used in the fabrication of (1) normal and (2) transverse displacement sensors. The sensors exhibit broad bandwidths and high sensitivity to preferred displacements while affording discrimination against unwanted modes of vibration. (Author)
