UNIVERSAL DIGITAL COMPUTER,

Abstract

The proposed universal digital computer is distinguished by the fact that in it, the memory-accumulator unit is connected to the buffer register with keys for the temporary storage of numbers and shifts which is switched to the operational code decoder which is connected to the memory-accumulator unit, to the address decoder, and to the microprogrammed circuit which is connected to the buffer register and to the address decoder. This enables a decrease in the computer equipment. The productivity of the device is retained, since the arithmetical operations are implemented in the memory unit, because of which the quantity of operations carried out is decreased and the simultaneous load of the various circuits of the computer increases.
