DUPLEXER FOR SIDE-LOOKING RADAR.

Abstract

The report describes the research and development directed towards advancing the state-of-the-art in the field of microwave components intended for application in a side-looking radar. A three-port E-plane junction circulator was developed capable of operating at a peak power level of 500 kw and an average power of 650 w. Single crystal yttrium iron garnet was employed as a power sensitive element in a completely solid state limiting device capable of operating at a peak power input of 50 kw. (Author)
