Computer Code for Calculating One-Dimensional Flow

Abstract

The report describes the implementation of the computer code 'Wondy' for one-dimensional hydrodynamic computations. The code was put into Fortran IV form for use on the IBM 7090 computer. The code was selected because it is adequately documented and because it handles problems involving elastoplasticity, porosity, fracture, and release of the reaction energy of explosives. The code is expected to be useful in simulating, designing, and interpreting experiments.
