SIMILARITY FOR A REAL GAS BOUNDARY LAYER FLOW.

Abstract

New results for a real gas compressible boundary layer flow are obtained, by applying recent group theory techniques for reducing the number of independent variables. In particular, the results are obtained without assumptions about the functions of state (which, say, relate pressure, 'specific heat', viscosity and thermal conductivity to the temperature and density).
