IONOSPHERIC RESEARCHERS USING SATELLITES.

Abstract

The report contains a description of equipments concerning: a reception chain of differential Doppler effect on 40-41 MHz, and the measurement of signals transmitted by beacons of a geostationary satellite. Details are given of studies of the total electron content; data of the laboratory; latitudinal evolution (diurnal variations); ray tracing of waves emitted by satellites through an anisotropic ionosphere; and measurement of ionospheric absorption by satellites.
