USE OF COMPUTERS FOR THE AUTOMATION OF PRODUCTION PROCESSES,

Abstract

The book deals with basic problems involved in the use of computers for the control of production processes. Numerous examples taken from Soviet and foreign practice show the role and position of control computers in various technological processes. Scientific and technical problems arising with the utilization of control computers are discussed, and trends of their development are characterized. The main emphasis is placed on the use of control computers in chemistry, power engineering, metallurgy, and transportation. (Author)
