SCATTERING OF WAVES BY PENETRABLE OBJECTS.

Abstract

Three problems were considered: (1) Focusing by liquid elliptical lens, (2) Scattering by coated prolate spheroids, and (3) Diffraction of sound waves by a moving fluid cylinder. A discussion on all these problems is given. (Author)
