CHEMICAL PHOTOREGENERATIVE SOLAR CONVERTER EFFICIENCY,

Abstract

Systems have been studied which use a chemical working fluid to absorb solar energy and convert it to chemical energy for recovery as electrical energy from electric cells. There is a possibility of attaining the above objectives with a photoregenerative system. A method for simply calculating the quantum yield is given with suggestions for improving efficiency. A suggested research approach is presented.
