A RESIDUE NUMBER SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL COMPUTER APPLICATIONS,

Abstract

A residue number system is developed which has certain computational advantages over standard numbering systems used in digital computers. The theory of the residue number system is described and applications of the number system to high speed digital computing are discussed. (Author)
