Abstract
The report suggests that a hospital have a technical support group, to provide engineering, fabrication and maintenance of research and clinical equipment of all varieties. As an example the report works out the administrative duties, personnel, costs, etc. of such a group, for a 500-bed hospital. The report also lists necessary items, electronic and mechanical equipment, glassblowing equipment, etc., for a hospital shop.
