TRANSFER OF HEAT AND MOISTURE AND FORMATION OF TEMPERATURE AND PRECIPITATION FIELDS ON THE EUROPEAN TERRITORY OF THE USSR,

Abstract

An examination was made of the relationship between horizontal heat and moisture transport to Europe and the water temperature in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean; the correlation between the advective and turbulent components of horizontal moisture transport are evaluated; a relationship is found between flows of heat and moisture over the European territory of the USSR and temperature and precipitation fields over this territory.
