NORMAL, OBLIQUE AND NORMAL REFLECTED SHOCK WAVES WITH DISSOCIATED EQUILIBRIUM AIR IN THE FRONT,

Abstract

A technique is given to render fast numerical solutions for a normal, oblique and normal reflected shock where the conditions of the air in the front are at high temperature and thermodynamic equilibrium dissociation. In order to have a fast method of solution, a computer program was prepared. Some typical examples are presented for both problems: the normal and the oblique shock wave and the normal reflected shock. With respect to the case of the normal and oblique shock no comparison with other solutions was made because there were no data available. The computation was programmed for the IBM 704. (Author)
