APPLICATION OF DEEP SEISMIC SOUNDING FOR STUDYING THE CRUSTAL STRUCTURE OF CENTRAL ASIA,

Abstract

The results of continuous profiling by deep seismic sounding (DSS) conducted in Central Asia since 1958 are briefly reviewed and summarized. Analysis of DSS data from western regions of Central Asia shows a qualitative similarity of wave patterns recorded in different areas. (Author)
