THE STRIKE TEAMS: TACTICAL PERFORMANCE AND STRATEGIC POTENTIAL
Abstract
Strike teams is a generic term used to describe a variety of friendly units in Vietnam whose common characteristics are smallness in size, missions in enemy areas, concealment in movement, surprise in attack, and suddenness in withdrawal. They represent a classic case of strategy slowly evolving from tried tactics.
