NEURAL CONTROL SYSTEMS OF INVERTEBRATES.

Abstract

Two sensory interneurones and one reflex system including sensory interneurones were investigated in the central nervous system of the locust. These systems respond to visual, auditory and tactile inputs respectively; their characteristics and probable biological functions are briefly summarized. (Author)
