ELECTROSENSORY SYSTEMS IN ELECTRIC FISH.
Abstract
Investigations of neuronal control of electric organs and other synchronously acting effector systems have disclosed several common properties and these studies have been extended to similar systems in other forms. The methods involve correlated psychological, physiological, and morphological studies and emphasis is given to the general relevance of the findings. (Author)
