ABOUT TWO CONCEPTS OF EQUATIONS OF A SPHERICAL SHELL,

Abstract

The report considers that the investigation of a thin elastic shell with the aid of certain geometric hypotheses may lead to a two dimensional problem. In this case it is assumed, that deformation of displacement in normal planes and deformations of elongations in direction of the normal to the center surface of the shell are equal to zero.
