COORDINATE METHOD IN ANALYTICAL RADIAL TRIANGULATION,

Abstract

The paper suggests the use of a stereocomparator for observing, calculating, and analyzing plane surfaces in large scale survey maps. This method, as proposed by the author, agrees in principle with the graphic method of radial triangulation but is half as apt to commit errors and requires less field work. The method of using the stereocomparator is more applicable to conditions in China and closely meets the actual requirements for production of large scale survey maps.
