MULTI-FREQUENCY ANTENNA FEED.

Abstract

The program involved the design, fabrication, and test of a multi-frequency feed system for the AFCRL 29-foot Prospect Hill Millimeter Wave Antenna to permit the generation of beams at 16, 35, and 94 GHz. The feed system consists of a compound 16- and 94-GHz horn orthogonal to the 35-GHz horn with a wire grid screen set at 45 degrees to both horns. A high degree of correlation was obtained between the predicted and test results. (Author)
