REGULATION OF THE DEGREE OF DISPERSION OF LIQUID AEROSOLS OBTAINED BY THE CONDENSATION METHOD

Abstract

The influence of various factors on the degree of dispersion of liquid aerosols obtained by the condensation method in a free stream has been established. The possibility of regulation of the mean droplet diameter by variation of the rate of mixing of the gas streams has been confirmed. Principles are put forward for calculation of the degree of dispersion of liquid aerosols obtained by the condensation method in a free stream, and calculation results are given for the mixing of glycerin vapor with atmospheric air.
