SOVIET-BLOC OCEANOGRAPHIC INSTRUMENTATION: REPORT NUMBER 3.

Abstract

The present report is a compilation of abstracts, the third in a series, on Soviet-bloc oceanographic instrumentation. The first section of the report deals with the development of oceanographic data handling and processing systems. The second section is devoted to individual instruments and combinations of instruments. This section is arranged by functional groupings which cover instruments used to measure temperature, optical properties, conductivity, sound, and radioactivity. A subsection dealing with miscellaneous instruments is included, as is an alphabetical listing of the authors whose articles appear in the report. (Author)
