ON THE QUALITY OF DETAILS OBTAINED BY EXTRUSION IN A LIQUID DIE,

Abstract

The report gives an evaluation of accuracy of dimensions and surface purity of cylindrical details with flange, obtained by extrusion in a liquid die. The evaluation of the quality of details is given by experimental data. It is shown that extrusion in a liquid die assures a much higher quality of details than extrusion in a hard (solid) die.
