SEASONAL AND ANNUAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE,

Abstract

The paper presents the mean seasonal and annual values of temperature and geopotential over the southern hemisphere up to the 100 mbar level and gives the annual temperature distribution over individual stations. It also includes a comparison of temperature and its distribution over the southern and northern hemispheres. (Author)
