Abstract

Novocaine blocking of the sympathetic nerve system in the region of the stellate ganglion is a powerful therapeutic factor in pleuropulmonary shock, in chest wounds with open pneumothorax, in operations on the organs of the thoracic cavity and posterior mediastinum, and also on the organs of the abdominal cavity.
