EXPERIMENTS ON THE STORAGE OF INDUSTRIAL MICROORGANISMS,

Abstract

For all species the mineral oil storage method is best; in the case of the non-sporulating actinomycetes in particular, the superiority is most marked. The use of mineral oil storage can, moreover, eliminate the danger of contamination by insect-spread microorganisms; this method may therefore be recommended for extended use. (Author)
