SOME NON-NUCLEAR MATERIALS AND TESTING STUDIES AT THE ATOMIC ENERGY RESEARCH ESTABLISHMENT, HARWELL, ENGLAND,

Abstract

This report covers a one-day meeting on 'Materials and Testing at Harwell,' held at the Atomic Energy Research Establishment, Harwell, Berks., on 3 Dec 1968. Industrial applications (non-nuclear) of many techniques were discussed, e.g., flaw detection, macroscopic and microscopic properties of materials, laser light scattering techniques, measuring flow velocity in fluids, ultrasonic holography, etc. This Report attempts to present highlights of the papers presented.
