A SOURCE-SINK PROBLEM,

Abstract

Considered is the problem of a three dimensional source and sink whose strengths are growing like t squared and moving with constant velocities -w and +w respectively from the origin at t = 0 along one of the coordinate axes. This problem is shown to be a self-similar problem and a qualitative discussion is made of its solution.
