JET MIXING OF AN ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTING FLUID IN A TRANSVERSE MAGNETIC FIELD,

Abstract

Laminar and turbulent, two-dimensional and radial, electrically conducting jets in the presence of a transverse magnetic field are investigated by a boundary layer type of analysis with similarity methods. It is assumed that the flow is incompressible, the electrical conductivity constant, and the magnetic Reynolds number small. (Author)
