Abstract

The theoretical principles of automatic control for linear and nonlinear systems are discussed and their functional and dynamic elements described. The fundamentals of the theory of gyroscopes, autopilots, and flight vehicle power plant control systems are reviewed. Brief data on guidance systems, radio remote control, and preset guidance is given. Volume I contains sections on: Elements of automatic control and regulating systems of flight vehicles; Fundamentals of theory of automatic control systems (first part).
