RESOLVED SHEAR STRESS FACTORS FOR SLIP AND (-1012) <-1011> TWINNING IN TITANIUM.

Abstract

Curves of Schmid factors for twinning are presented for all (10-12) <-1011> systems, for tensile or compressive stress axes lying in (10-10) and (11-20) planes. The corresponding curves are also given of Schmid factors for basal and prism slip in the parent matrix and in any (10-12) twin. (Author)
